This is a wonderful opportunity to escape the cold and wet season and enjoy everything that Italy has to offer in addition to a great golf course. The Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort offers so much more. Hopefully I can inspire you to do the same with this blog post.

The moment you enter Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort, you find yourself in a completely different magical universe. You walk, play and eat as if you were in a fairytale world. I can’t tell you better than that you have to discover this brilliant place for yourself. 

Let’s start with the golf course. The Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort has 18 panoramic holes with a length of 6,218 meters and par 71.

It has been Italy’s only PGA-licensed golf course since 2019.

The entire course has been maintained with natural products for years and has been awarded the BioAgricert environmental certificate for sustainability and water management. I think this is an important factor nowadays as golf travel often gets a bad taste due to the scarcity of water. All the better that I was able to play the golf course in breathtakingly good condition. The tees were perfect and the greens arrow fast. In addition, the old and beautiful trees are wonderfully integrated into the layout of the course, like the signature tree that also appears in the Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort logo to the right of the 18th green.

The Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort also features a proper short game practice area, putting green and driving range. This makes it perfect for a golf trip with a pro in combination with the really fantastic food in the clubhouse. During my stay, we were able to enjoy the Italian cuisine there two evenings. In summary: What a great kitchen, compliments to the whole team and thanks again for the great hospitality. You should also stop here as a halfway or after your round.

Okey golf course and clubhouse restaurant are already world class but what about the hotel and the rooms?

Well the same! When you enter the futuristic, stylish entrance hall, you immediately feel the Italian design spirit. The very well trained staff at the reception reflects exactly what you have already experienced on the golf course and in the clubhouse. #Worldclass hospitality 

When you enter the hotel room, you will be blown away again. The rooms are really very stylish and extravagantly furnished. I’ve never seen the bathroom with its noble bathtub like this before and I think it’s really cool. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the balcony and terrace offer a great view of the mountain panorama of Tuscany and the Orbetello lagoon. Look forward to breakfast, where Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort once again shines with all kinds of delicacies. If you don’t feel like playing golf or just want to relax, there is a spa and a lovely pool. But I would always prefer to play golf on this great golf course. Somehow Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort is something very special.

 

You don’t play a golf course like Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort that often in your life. A couple of holes are so spectacular with epic views across to Elba from the tee box and on the back nine you play through an olive grove and some holes through ancient cork oak. 

There is a phrase on the Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort website that I would like to quote here as it fits perfectly.

In summary I can highly recommend the food in the clubhouse at Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort. After a really challenging round of golf when the wind comes up, the comfortable rooms and the pleasant and relaxing atmosphere of the resort combined with the excellent Italian cuisine are just great. The best thing about Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort is that you can play excellent golf all year round, but it is definitely my recommendation for the colder months of the year in Central Europe.
