Because of my job as an art director I am in the area of lake Bodensee once a year for a fair stand inspection at the Outdoor Fair at Friedrichshafen. Last time I was very lucky to stay at the Golf Hotel GC Weissensburg. This time I stayed in a different hotel but it was very close to another golf course around the area of Lindau. I had a one night stay and decided to play an early early bird before breakfast. GC Lindau is just 2km away from Lindau City and it`s easy to reach.

But getting there and standing on the first tee two members reminded me of why I’m doing goodsundays.com.

Preparing for the first tee shot a lady just passed me and told me that she is a member and therefore she’s allowed to play ahead of me because I’m using a camera. Ok second try and almost the same situation. This time an old man told me he has to work and he has to play trough.

Well I didn`t care – more time for me to enjoy this nice golf course and take some pictures.

 GC Lindau is really a great course to play. Everything was perfect, flat and even tee boxes, super nice fairways, bunkers and very fast greens. Again I enjoyed it. But this course offers even more, amazing shots created out of the variety of the up and down of the course. And last but not least at several holes you have a great view at the lake Bodensee.

My goodsundays.com signature hole was the 18th. A par 4 with 348 m from the yellow tee. Hitting a perfect drive I placed myself in perfect position for the next shot. I had 132 m left and the green was almost 14 m above me. So I decided to play a 6 iron. I made a nice swing and hit the green. Arriving there I had to battle the very undulated green. A two putt par was written and I had a final view over lake Bodensee and the great GC Lindau golf course. I hope that I have the option to play here again.
