Es wird oft verwendet, um zu betonen, dass die Heimat genauso schön sein kann wie ferne Länder. Das ist die perfekte Einleitung für den Golfclub Höslwang, der alles bietet, was sich ein Golfer wünscht, egal woher er kommt. Das sage ich oft und hier im GC Höslwang wird es bestätigt. The rounds of golf at Golf Club Höslwang are like a mini holiday spread over 18 holes. The club garstro is a delight and rounds off the mini-holiday.

Wie so oft im schönen Oberbayern ist die Fahrt ins und durch das schöne Chiemgauer Alpenvorland ein Traum. Die Fahrt durch bayerische Bilderbuchlandschaften, durch malerische Dörfer bis zur Auffahrt des Golfclubs Höslwang ist ein Idyll. Eingebettet in diese sagenhafte Landschaft sind die spannenden, sehr abwechslungsreichen, aber auch fordernden 18 Löcher des Golfclub Höslwang. Das Greenkeeping ist on point und trotz des topografisch anspruchsvollen Platzes gibt es keinen Grund zur Klage. Die Abschläge sind flach, die Fairways sind wie ein grüner Teppich und die Grüns sind schnell und anspruchsvoll. Darüber hinaus ist das Layout des Golfclub Höslwang sehr abwechslungsreich und komplex zu spielen. Es gibt manchmal große Höhenunterschiede vom Abschlag zum Grün und dazu noch ein paar Löcher mit sehr großen Wasserhindernissen, die sich wirklich auf eure Scorekarte auswirken können. Darüber hinaus gibt es einen wirklich großen alten Baumbestand, der eure Drives immer wieder beeinflusst. Die Mitte des Fairways ist hier der absolute Schlüssel für dein Spiel. Besonders gut gefällt mir die Gestaltung der Bunker, von denen einige teilweise mit Holz verkleidet sind.

As is so often the case in beautiful Upper Bavaria, the journey to and through the beautiful Chiemgau Alpine foothills is a dream. Passing through picture-book Bavarian countryside, through picturesque villages to the driveway of the Golf Club Höslwang is a paradise. Embedded in this legendary landscape are the exciting, very varied but also thrilling 18 holes of the Golf Club Höslwang. The greenkeeping is on point and despite the topographically demanding course, you won’t find any reason to complain. The tees are flat, the fairways are like a green carpet and the greens are fast and challenging. In addition, the layout of the Golf Club Höslwang is very varied and difficult to play. There are sometimes large differences in elevation from tee to green and then there are a few holes with very large water hazards that can really affect your scorecard. In addition, you have a really great old tree population that can constantly influence your drives. The centre of the fairway is the absolute key to your game here. I particularly like the design of the bunkers, some of which are partially covered with wood.

Ein Par 4 mit 340 Metern von Gelb und 240 Metern von Rot, es ist relativ kurz, aber anspruchsvoll. Das spannende Dogleg nach rechts, dessen Fairway durch einen großen Baum direkt in der Fairwaybiegung gut verteidigt wird, erfordert einen starken Gameplan. Unmittelbar nach dem Baum befinden sich auf der rechten Seite neben einem wunderschönen, von vielen Blumen gesäumten Wasserhindernis zwei Bunker, die den Ball vor dem Wasser bewahren, es jedoch sehr schwer machen, das Grün direkt anzugreifen. Das Grün selbst wird ebenfalls von zwei weiteren Bunkern geschützt. Par ist hier ein wirklich gutes Ergebnis.

A par 4 with 340 metres from yellow and 240 from red, it is relatively short but demanding.  The exciting dogleg to the right, whose fairway is well defended by a large tree directly in the fairway bend, requires a strong game plan. Immediately after the tree, on the right, next to a wonderful water hazard lined with many flowers, there are two bunkers that protect your ball from the water but make it very difficult to attack the green directly. The green itself is also protected by two more bunkers. Par here is a really good score.

Die zweiten Neun sind landschaftlich sehr attraktiv und bieten herrliche Ausblicke auf das wunderbare Panorama der Chiemgauer Alpen. Ich konnte Earlybir im Golfclub Höslwang spielen, den ich sehr malerisch empfunden habe – ich denke, die Bilder sprechen für sich. Was auch sehr gut und stilvoll ist, ist das Clubhaus.

The second nine are particularly scenic and offer wonderful views of the marvellous panorama of the Chiemgau Alps. I was able to play the Golf Club Höslwang in the morning, which I found very picturesque – I think the views speak for themselves. What is also very good and stylish is the clubhouse.

Die moderne Architektur fügt sich elegant in die Chiemgauer Landschaft ein. Ich kann euch wirklich wärmstens empfehlen, einen Ausflug in das schöne Chiemgau und in den Golfclub Höslwang zu machen. Oder wenn ihr in der Region lebt, vielleicht sogar Mitglied zu werden. Wenn ich hier wohnen würde, könnte ich mir das sehr gut vorstellen.
