Ich habe den Golfclub München Riedhof in den letzten Jahren zweimal spielen können, einmal im Rahmen eines Turniers und zu Beginn meiner Golfkarriere. Beide Male war ich sehr beeindruckt, konnte aber damals nicht genau sagen, warum. 

Den Golfclub München-Riedhof nicht nur spielerisch, sondern auch durch die Linse zu betrachten und zu analysieren, gab mir die Gelegenheit, einen sehr positiven Eindruck zu bekommen. 

I have been able to play Golfclub München Riedhof twice in recent years, once as part of a tournament and at the start of my golfing career. I was very impressed both times, but couldn’t say exactly why at the time. 

Taking a closer look at and analysing GC Riedhof not only in terms of play, but also through the lens, gave me the opportunity to write a very positive blog post. 

Am Riedhof stimmt jeder Grashalm und das Greenkeeping ist außergewöhnlich gut. Ich hatte die Chance, mit einigen Greenkeepern persönlich zu sprechen und war sehr beeindruckt von der Begeisterung, mit der sie sich um den Platz kümmern und sich mit ihm identifizieren. Die Grüns und Abschläge waren extrem gut. Das ist nicht nur eine Behauptung, das ist eine Tatsache. Ich war auch angenehm überrascht, so viele junge und freundliche Golfer zu treffen. Im Allgemeinen hatte ich eine gute Zeit und fühlte sozusagen einen neuen Wind über die Anlage wehen. Es gibt mehrere Gründe, sich den Riedhof einmal näher anzusehen. Natürlich schaue ich als Gastspieler immer mal wieder vorbei, aber ich habe auch ein paar klassische Social Ads gesehen, die mich neugierig gemacht haben. Ein paar harte Fakten, die mich auch als potenzielles neues Mitglied des Golfclub München-Riedhof ansprechen würden: 

At Riedhof, every blade of grass is just right and the greenkeeping is exceptionally good. I had the opportunity to speak to some of the greenkeepers personally and was very impressed by the enthusiasm with which they care for and identify with the course. The greens were mega good and the tee shots were also extremely good. That’s not just a statement, it’s a fact. I was also pleasantly surprised to meet so many young and friendly golfers. In general, I had a good time and felt like a new wind. There are several reasons to take a closer look at GC Riedhof. Of course, as a guest player I always drop by, but I was also shown a few classic social adverts that made me curious. Der Golfclub Riedhof ist malerisch in den Ausläufern der bayerischen Alpen gelegen und zählt zu den 30 besten Golfplätzen in Deutschland. Entworfen von Heinz Fehring im Jahr 1989 und kontinuierlich optimiert, bietet der Platz eine abwechslungsreiche, herausfordernde und gleichzeitig landschaftlich reizvolle 18-Loch-Anlage, die den höchsten internationalen PGA-Standards entspricht.

GC Riedhof is picturesquely situated in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps and is one of the 30 best golf courses in Germany. Designed by Heinz Fehring in 1989 and continuously optimised, the course offers a varied, challenging and at the same time scenic 18-hole course that meets the highest international PGA standards.

Meine Einschätzung basiert auf der Bewertung des Top 100 Golf Courses. Ich empfehle definitiv diesen unglaublich guten Golfplatz anzusehen und zu spielen. 

Ich freue mich schon auf einen ausführlichen Besuch im nächsten Jahr, wenn ich den Riedhof in seiner ganzen Pracht spielen und Dokumentieren kann. 

My assessment is based on the Top 100 Golf Courses rating. I definitely recommend watching and playing this incredibly good golf course. 

I’m already looking forward to a detailed visit next year when I can play and document the Riedhof in all its splendour.
